RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

2016-2017 Electronic Medical Records - Converted the prototype written orthodontic treatment data acquisition system to a web version (Microsoft Access 2010).

1999-2002 Electronic Medical Records, Developed a prototype data acquisition system to capture written orthodontic treatment records in a digitized format using structured data entry (SDE) method (Microsoft Access 97) under the direction of Sheldon Baumrind, DDS, MS, Department of Orthodontics, University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and University of the Pacific (UOP).

1995-1997 Computer Image Processing, Developed and tested a program for automatic cephalometric analysis, a program to automatically predict craniofacial growth using multicovarient statistical pattern recognition, and a program to enhance dental radiographs for easier visual identification of soft and hard tissues (Programming Language C++) under the direction of David Rudolph, DDS, MS, PhD, Section of Orthodontics, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

1984-1986 Education Technology Center, Developed computer based tutoring software for children to identify, compare, and contrast different three-dimensional objects on computer screen. Used artificial intelligence to allow dynamic interaction with the user (Programming Language Pascal) under the direction of Alfred M. Bork, PhD, Department of Information & Computer Science, University of California, Irvine (UCI).
